In order to make the world of the future more livable, the houses of the future must be designed correctly. The houses of the future can be compared to a tree or an animal. There may be plants on the walls of the house, and energy can be obtained by using solar energy. Or it could be made to resemble an animal so that it can change color or repair itself... of course, these are just a few hypotheses. Wall Street Journal newspaper asked 4 architects to design the sustainable house of the future. These houses should be energy efficient, economical, aesthetic, environmentally friendly and built using recyclable materials. Sustainable homes in which we can live in the coming years using existing and new technologies are considered. (Alex Frangos, 2009, The Wall Street Journal)
A fresh perspective is actually a long-desired approach because the construction of houses causes great harm to the environment. We can easily observe the exhaust gases emitted by a factory or cars, but buildings - silent and motionless - contain the majority of resources and energy spent in electricity, heating and water consumption. “According to the estimates of the US Department of Energy, buildings are responsible for 39% of total energy consumption and a similar amount of greenhouse gas emissions. In the light of these facts, "green building design" has begun to attract attention as an increasingly developing branch." (SUYAPO, 2015)
